DeVry University Online

DeVry University is a for-profit, academic institution that first opened in Chicago in 1931. Formerly known as the De Forest Training School, the name changed to DeVry Technical Institute in 1953 to commemorate its founder, Dr. Herman A. DeVry. The University is authorised to confer degrees in technology, science, business, the arts and management – through on-campus classes or via online learning. It has, since it started, sent out more than 75,000 professionals into the workplace.

DeVry University’s online program offerings are as extensive as those available on campus. Various associate, undergraduate and graduate courses from the College of Business and Management, College of Engineering and Information Sciences, College of Health Sciences, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and College of Media Arts & Technology are available online. Tuition for online courses roughly cost $525.00 per credit hour and does not include any incidental expenses such as library or laboratory fees. Financial assistance, in the form of federal grants, scholarships and discounts for military personnel, is readily available for eligible students. Tuition fees and aid requirements may change without prior notice. For more details, contact DeVry University’s Bursar or Financial Aid Office

DeVry’s admission requirements vary depending on personal circumstance. Students who are citizens or residents of the United States have a different set of requirements to those who are in active military duty, from Canada or other countries. Degree programs may require students to submit additional documentation in support of their application. It is recommended that applicants coordinate directly with DeVry’s Admissions Office.

DeVry University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.
